Sarah is a clinical psychology registrar who works with children, adolescents, families, and adults. She sees people with a range of presentations – including anxiety, depression, autism (ASD) and ADHD, trauma, and obsessive compulsive disorder. Sarah also conducts intellectual (IQ) and learning assessments across the lifespan.
Sarah has a warm, friendly, and engaging approach to therapy and tries her best to make her clients as comfortable as possible within the course of the sessions. She believes that the relationship between the client and therapist is a significant factor within the therapy, therefore, she priorities the therapeutic relationship. She is passionate about working collaboratively with her clients to help them connect with their strengths and values and reach their goals.
Sarah draws upon cognitive and behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical-behaviour therapy, and other evidence-based approaches in her work. She takes on a holistic approach when creating a treatment plan for her clients. She has previously worked in private practice settings.
