Leyla is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Psychologist with a deep passion for helping clients improve their lives. She believes in empowering individuals to become active participants in their own recovery journey. Her aim is to foster a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients can freely explore and understand their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
Leyla understands that therapy can be an intimidating endeavour for many, especially children and adolescents, so she tries hard to ensure that every client feels comfortable, valued, understood, and validated. By cultivating a sense of trust and understanding, Leyla establishes a therapeutic alliance that serves as the foundation for meaningful and transformative work.
Leyla has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She is particularly passionate about working with people with personality disorders, trauma, psychosis, and anxiety disorders. Leyla combines evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, with a person-centred and strengths-based approach. Recognising the uniqueness of each individual, Leyla tailors her therapeutic interventions to meet the specific needs and goals of her client. Leyla is committed to helping individuals achieve positive change, resilience, and well-being.
