Cancellation Policy

Our goal is to provide effective and timely psychological care to all who need it. Our cancellation policy is in place to ensure that we can offer treatment to as many people as possible.

When appointments are cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, it often means that another client who could have benefited from that time slot misses out on the opportunity for care. By requiring sufficient notice for cancellations, we can reallocate the time to someone else who needs it.

Moreover, the policy helps us manage the substantial overhead costs associated with running our practice. This includes the resources and significant preparation time we set aside for each appointment, which cannot be easily redirected on short notice. By minimising late cancellations, we can maintain the sustainability of our services and continue to provide high-quality care to our community.

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we strive to be as flexible as possible. We appreciate your cooperation with this policy, as it plays a crucial role in ensuring that we can help as many individuals as possible on their journey to mental well-being.

48-Hour Notice Requirement:

We kindly request that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us sufficient time to offer the slot to another client who may be waiting for an appointment.

Cancellation Fee:

If an appointment is canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of [insert fee amount] will be charged. This fee is necessary to cover the costs associated with the reserved time and resources that cannot be reallocated on short notice.

How to Cancel or Reschedule:

To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. This will help us accommodate your needs and offer your appointment time to another client in need.

Your Understanding and Cooperation:

By scheduling an appointment, you are agreeing to our cancellation policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring that our services are accessible to all clients in need. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please feel free to discuss them with your therapist.
